About this cigar
Cohiba Siglo III — tasting notes and pricing context
The Siglo III is the longest of the slim-ring Siglos and the most overlooked vitola in the Línea 1492. At 6.1 inches by a 42 ring (Habanos calls the shape Corona Grande), it sits between the Siglo II (Marevas) and the thicker Siglo IV (Corona Gorda), and aficionados often nominate it as the most elegant in the line — the longer length lets the cigar evolve through more flavour phases without the body ever getting heavy. The blend is the same lighter, silkier Línea 1492 blend that defines the Siglo character.
The smoke is gentle but complex. First third opens with butter, hay and a faint pastry note; the middle settles into Cohiba's signature creamy cedar-and-honey core; the last third delivers a long, slightly sweet finish with a touch of espresso and dried wood. Smoking time runs 60 to 80 minutes. Across Europe a box of 25 sits in the €830 to €1,050 range: Noblego runs around €875, Cigarmust CHF 980 (~€1,030 after FX), Italian licensed tabaccherie €890. The Siglo III is also one of the more frequently-restocked Cohiba SKUs, which makes price-comparison shopping easier than for the Robustos or Siglo VI.
