Questions
Can I buy Cuban cigars online in Ireland?
Yes. Licensed retailers in Ireland sell Habanos online with public prices and ship domestically. Buying from another EU country is legal too, but the box picks up destination duty and VAT.
Where is the cheapest place to buy Cuban cigars in Ireland right now?
On our board the cheapest box per cigar in Ireland is the Montecristo Petit Edmundo at €1,133 from James J. Fox Dublin (since 1881) (live · 30 Oct).
Will I pay duty and VAT on top of the listed price?
Not when you buy from a retailer in Ireland and ship within Ireland — duty and VAT are already in the price. Buying from abroad, Ireland charges its own tobacco excise and VAT at the border.
